Dr. Svoboda grew up on a farm in a rural town in Nebraska. She attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she majored in veterinary science and worked at a local veterinary clinic for over 5 years.  She then moved to Ames, Iowa to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.  She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2024. Dr. Svoboda is eager to begin her career in Des Moines and meet your pets! She has a passion for animal welfare and education. In her free time, Dr. Svoboda enjoys spending time with her young toddler, 2 dogs, and 1 rambunctious kitten.
